How do you expect to be taken seriously when you make an idiotic claim of an extramarital fling between Ricardel and Trump?  Look at her. Sheesh.

Trump has a certain type.

I was being a bit facetious, but let's be real, Trump's type is probably no longer accessible, I mean other than Ivanka. Gone are the days of the $130,000 short-time with the porn star, or jetting off to Moscow for a "Shower". He has to take what he can, when he can. I'd imagine most women would rather be intimate with Jabba the Hutt though.

The problem with this story that leaves me shaking my head is I am sure she had absolutely nothing to do with the planning and booking of the trip. I would expect that she says she wants to go to Africa to see this. this, and that. From there staff do what staff do in regards to planning and booking.

This, of course, makes sense, but then begs the questions:

why try to hide it when surfaced?

why obfuscate when confronted?

why offer multiple explanations?

why get so angry when having to explain a "reasonable" expense?

Trump Repeatedly Claims Not to Understand Certain Accents

So maybe, just maybe Melania was actually saying, "No!...NO!!" to Donald all those years ago?

I would think there's a lot more to this story than is being reported. If anyone remembers "Travelgate" you'll know the White House has a travel office which is responsible for making travel arrangements. I doubt the Bolton aide works for the travel office, so there's probably something missing from this story.

From the original post/article...

One source said that Melania Trump felt that Ricardel tried to short-change the first lady when it came to government resources allocated to support her Africa tour.

But clearly, there is a lot yet to be understood about why the first lady is firing a deputy national security aide.

And maybe it's time for her promised press conference explaining her "path to citizenship"?

Trump promises press conference on Melania's immigration story

"She has got it so documented," Trump said, adding she will hold a news conference over the next few weeks to address the issue.

Yes, I read that. Didn't seem particularly illuminating.

$95,050 to the Semiramis Intercontinental Cairo hotel for the first lady’s visit — but according to her spokesperson, she didn’t even stay the night!

Hotel room?  Maybe she thought she was buying a condo.

"You see, now I am real estate mogul too!"

Kind of funny that Ricardel bears a resemblance to a sometimes-member of the entourage on the show Veep.

Melania and Ivanka Clashed Over Using a Black Child in a Photo Op

"John Kelly was tasked with talking to the teams of both women about the … overlap of black children photographed in official White House press materials and Instagram posts?"

"Melania Keeps Her Game Face"

"Melania Trump offers us the numbed and deadened face of womanhood under the Trump administration. This is the mien the president and his minions both require and prefer: the face of a woman who does not react, a woman resembling an automaton, a doll — costumed in what amounts to a double-level simulacrum: a re-creation of a 1950s-style Hollywood look that was itself a re-creation of Victorian-era safari dress. In other words, Melania’s outfit sends us spinning back in time to two eras iconic for their repression of women."

Indiana Trump

"Doctor Leevingstone, I ask zoom?"  Or perhaps a Peter Ustinov impersonation in "Desk on zee Nile."

Does everything she does have to be an imitation of someone else?

As we speak, someone can be typing out Michelle Obama's book so that she can publish it under her own name.

On the other hand, well, that outfit can be considered drag.  Melania as gender bender?  Too bad the camera wasn't angled a little lower, we may see she's packing a plastic surprise ("only for you, Donaldt!").  Maybe the relationship with Ricardel was a little more intimate than we thought, with Melania the one wearing the pants, and the firing is considered a bad breakup.  What next, an affair with Caitlyn Jenner?

I would have liked to see her security detail when this shot was taken, anyone who's been there knows what I'm getting at.  The hassle from the guides, hawkers, etc at the site is the stuff of legend, even for the Egyptians.

It sounds like Ms. Ricardel has finally left the building.

He needs a rally.

Trump Reportedly ‘Blindsided’ By Melania Calling For Aide’s Ouster, Complained He Looked Like a ‘Bossed Around Husband’

According to reporting from CNN White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins, the president complained that the whole episode made him look like he was taking orders from his wife.

“Trump was said to be blindsided by the First Lady’s statement Tuesday,” Collins said. “Feeling backed into a corner and complaining he looks like a bossed around husband.”

But to another job in the Administration? Interesting.

Mira Ricardel will continue to support the President as she departs the White House to transition to a new role within the Administration," White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement about the White House's deputy national security adviser. Sanders did not say what that new role would be.

Ex Trump advisers are offered jobs paying $150K p.a., basically sinecures. Some accept, others reject if they wish to critique the Administration.

Yes, but those are "positions" outside the Administration offered up by Lara Trump (Eric's wife) on the 2020 Committee to Re-Elect the President (or CREEP as it was known in 1972).

Sarah Sanders statement, take it for what you will, indicates that Ricardel will be going to a new role in the Administration.
