BERLIN (Reuters) - Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said in an interview published on Tuesday that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had asked for a meeting with Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan and that there was currently no reason not to meet him.

"Yes, he has asked Erdogan on the phone, whether they could meet in Buenos Aires. Erdogan's answer was 'Let's see'", Cavusoglu told Germany's Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper.

"At the moment there is no reason not to meet with the Crown Prince."

They will meet to see what the deal will be to clear this mess up and move on. It'll be a case of what's in it for Turkey and what the price is for Saudi...simple. Would be an interesting conversation to listen to, that's for sure, seeing as the are both ruthless and violent dictators.

"When you sup with the devil use a long spoon" wise words fro these ages. MbS is a murderer, that is reason enough not to meet him.

MbS must be desperate and Erdogan has him by the short hairs....look for some money to pass from the Saudi treasury into the already obscenely full pockets of Erdogan.

A sickening hypocrisy from the West, they have lost all moral authority in the world. Personally I am tired of the world hegemony project by the US and its vassals.
