Villa has Heinz Tomato Ketchup from three sources (sauces?) check the ingredients!

I used to like Prime USDA corn fed beef when I lived in Texas until I found out that the steers had never grazed and spent their entire lives standing on concrete in confined spaces. Give me grass fed Aberdeen Angus any day.

talkin about sheeeit,

have you seen the Belgian charole? frightening indeed

Never noticed that Heinz had that much variety - any with horse bits in? Well spotted.

A rare grass-fed agreement from me. My kind of bull.

Sorry to hear that. But it's supposed to be mixed with water and whatever else you might like to add. It's good stuff - not to be snorted at!

The main problem with meat is that it may contain sex

hormones and antibiollocks etc.

This is a recipe to make at home so you get to choose the ingredients.

Firstly you need a good trusted butcher and here in Thailand there are a few. In BKK there would be Villa of Foodland and probably many others depending on where you live.

Out here in Nakhon Nowhere I ask my wife to get it for me. I have no idea where she gets it but it is very good and tender.

Cheese. Good cheese is harder to find out here so I make do with what I can get from Makro or if I am feeling flush at the time I may try Tops.

Bacon I can make myself.

The advantage of making your own is that YOU control what goes into it and you hope that the ingredients you have to buy as good quality.

Sex hormones in moderation are ok but sometimes they over dose on the testosterone and I leave the restaurant feeling like Arnold Shwarzenegger ,go to a bar, insist they put professional wrestling or a war film on TV and have a need to purchase cocktails for women with names like "boom boom" .

no,

charole a slightly different brand, find it in Eastern Europe

anyway,

charolais originates from the city of Charole

so charolais beef and charole beef is pretty much same same

Recipe for burger

Buy 8oz sirloin steak. Trim off excess fat. Put in grinder. Salt to taste. Bottle of Louis Jadot Cote De Beune while it cooks on the barbecue. Call fire brigade after falling asleep.

Did anyone see Andrew Marr today? Quite excellent!

Your bete noire Tony Blair was on great form! What a statesman! Makes the others look depressingly shallow and fundamentally weak. The man spoke wisely!

Then we had Liam Fox. Dear god! What a failed low life. I could go on but Marr publically removed his trousers and showed the hole in them!

There was a young Labour bird. OK but no statesPERSON (Dick)

Finally we had the inexorable Heartly something woman. Total out classed by Schama who was brilliant as always!

Do watch it! Ask a grown up

At least we have some trade deals in place.....

Liam Fox promised "up to" 40 deals by Brexit.......up to actually means FOUR.....and here they are........

Mauritius (god knows!)

Chile (wine)

Switzerland and Liechtenstein (false teeth)

and the Faroe Isles.....so when the electric runs out, at least we'll have some nice warm sweaters.

what happens to the 600 + trade deals that also need to be signed is anybody's guess......

just read in Norwegian msm,

the US ambassador to UK is pissed off by criticism of US food standards re birds and re beef,

calls it brexit fanatism

claiming that US food is all healthy and that US food production methods are scientifically based

as opposed to EU food protection regulations which are arcane

and mostly relevant in museums.     So, there you go!

American ambassadors are just Trump lackeys. Who cares what he says?

How scientific is cruelty?
