webfact Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 Bangkok governor a wizard at solving problems when alerted online By The Nation FILE photo Bangkok Metropolitan Administration governor Aswin Kwanmuang declared on Friday that he had resolved 90.55 per cent of the 9,108 complaints sent to the Line account he opened for the purpose in June 2017. Posting his success rate on Facebook, Aswin said 14,030 messages had been sent to @aswinbkk, of which 4,922 were suggestions for resolving issues and the rest were complaints and grievances on matters such as neighbours’ pets, flooding, uncollected garbage and vendors and motorcyclists using sidewalks. Aswin said the BMA had resolved 8,248 cases and another 860 had gone to court because they involve law violations, such buildings erected on public land. Other unresolved issues involved disputes among neighbours that require lengthy mediation, he added.
