I know nothing of either band's backstory. But I do know what I dislike about both bands are their lead singers. I think it was the Brits who fostered the concept of the ay-hole lead singer in the 1960s (no names here, lest I be bashed by the loved by millions crowd), and it took 10+ years for the US to come up with David Lee Roth.
