(One of his minions sent a 'you're not a constituent' reply, presumably by not fully understanding what his new job entailed. My inquiry later reached it's destination via my constituency MP and one other sitting MP). I got an acknowledgement from a 'minion', I think possibly his wife to say it would be forwarded to the ministerial office. If like the last email I sent to an MP it could take a couple of months. Not sure what his Army pension would be as he only served 10 years. Pensions start at 16 years service. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/28070/TriserviceOfficersRetiredPayandGratuitiesAFPS75.pdf The best I can figure he would come under OF2 (Specialist Aircrew) Link to comment

Quite a nice pile but their standard of living will be a bit higher than mine. In addition to that Harry's share will be taxed by the UK government as income earned in the UK. Megan will be worse off as she is a US citizen and they are taxed by the US IRS on ALL monies earned world wide no matter which country she works in. Naturally they will be paying the top rates of tax. They both need separate financial advisors, one for the UK and one for the US and if they live in Canada it is likely that they will need one there also. Link to comment
