A wife suspected her husband was having an affair with the housemaid and decided to catch him in the act.

On Friday, she told the maid to take the day off. That night, she crept into the maid's room, turned off all the lights, and slipped into the bed in total darkness.

 

As expected, around midnight, she heard footsteps approaching. A figure entered the room and climbed into the bed beside her.

 

After a few passionate kisses, the wife's anger reached its peak. She suddenly turned on the lights and screamed, "Surprised?"

 

The startled chauffeur stammered, "Very much so, ma'am!"
