What's a just OK not great not horrible holiday tip amount for condo doorman, etc.
Some people can't seem to help bragging when it comes to Thais/Thailand. I guess there's no point in being the "big man" if you cannot boast about it. π -

Do you think the insurance companies charge us "farang" price for the health insurance?
Yes, next question. They charge Farang prices in Farangland also. (when was the last time you got a free house, free money, free insurance, etc in your home country?) Thailand is just more open about it. -

I'm not splitting any hairs. To not do something kind, does not mean that someone is being unkind. π€·ββοΈ I disagree. Choosing to give a gift to someone at a special time for you is very much showing a level of fondness or affection. Unless you give Christmas gifts to random strangers (which I doubt that you do). You show kindness, you feel good, it has meaning. As I said, Thais have a time when they might give gifts to people, if they don't give a gift to you, when you have given a gift to them previously, it clearly has meaning. They don't think the same way about you as you do about them. (And you not knowing when Thais give gifts, doesn't mean it isn't the case.) If you want to be in a one-sided relationship, that is up to you, but to deny it is somewhat pointless. Are you? Do you need me not to reply so that you "win"? π -

Bangkok universities...MBA program reviews?
My son is thinking about getting his MBA in Bangkok (USA citizen and undergrad degree soon). I've done lots of research and found a few in Bangkok that offer what appears to be decent tri-semester programs for international students in English. However some are part time, and require work experience first. But I would like to chat with anyone that has personal experience or find independent resources that review/rank these universities. I haven't been able to find anything reliable yet. Out list includes: Assumption, Stamford, AIT, NIDA, Chulalongkorn, SIAM, Bangkok U. Some of their websites are lacking information so we await responses to emails. Chulalongkorn has the Sasin school but seems outrageously expensive. Their website implied there is another MBA program there however (but waiting for clarification). We will continue to look for info/videos, etc, online but welcome thoughts and experiences. Thanks. -
