New travel rules: Thailand’s ETA to shake up visa-free visitors
What I find interesting is that this ETA is going to be issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs not Immigration which gives some hope that it will be done efficiently I have observed over the years that they are very efficient in issuing Thai passports with minimal documentation required, the passport is received in three days and at half the cost of what I pay for my Australian passport. During Covid they were responsible for issuing the Health rentry document which I easily obtained within a few hours online. -

OP were you by chance offered "Marol" instead of Tramadol ? Bizarrely I at home take one of each every day the Marol being the modified slow release for daytimes and the Tramadol at night Essentially its the same Med -

Not your strong point then! Lincoln could have ended slavery by other means than slaughter. The Brits ended slavery in it's colonies in the 1830's by purchasing slaves then freeing them. Of course that would not have solved the problem of the CSA which was all Lincoln was interested in. The war did not end slavery, congress did, which they could have done before.- 1

You're repeating yourself. Just an empty assertion. You've got no answer for all the evidence that Biden does love his son. Maybe Biden won't do the honorable thing. Maybe he will succumb to his love for his son. Maybe he will pardon his son. But this is a nation where laws are supposed to be applied equally. Pardoning his son would set a terrible example. We've already had some bad presidential pardon examples set. George H.W. Bush pardoned officials for participating in the Iran Contra fiasco to protect himself. And Donald Trump did the same fur lowlifes like Paul Manafort and Roger Stone, who also were in a position to possibly incriminate him. -

anrc's response "it is allowed" is irresponsible, dangerous and - in this generalized form - wrong. From the TRD themselves we have only heard in one video that credit card transactions count as taxable remittances. It was either the Swiss Embassy video or the French Embassy video, I tried to find it for you but couldn't, sorry. (Your question has been discussed on AN many times, as have those videos, and unfortunately AN isn't easily searchable. I don't keep a database of links to answered questions). It was not one of the multitude of useless vlogger videos jumping on the bandwagon, and the people speaking were officials from the TRD. Quite the opposite to what these officials said, is what an Italian from Mahanakorn partners says in a vlogger's youtube channel: only money remitted from abroad into your own Thai bank account will be taxed. When the video was discussed here, nobody took him serious, too much does it contradict all the TRD has ever publicly said. There are however good, real reasons to argue credit card transactions shouldn't be taxed: credit is not income ( @JimGanthas explained it very well). We don't know what the TRD thinks. BTW you should read the pinned tax thread. -
