While I agree the USA is still mostly fine and will likely remain fine, as the economy is and has been the biggest and best for 130+ years and will remain so for a long time to come. It's the straw that stirs the world's economic drink as well as all other of the free world's cocktails. That's ALL good.
However here's the bad part. There's no doubt that both political parties are terribly broken and gone off the rails. It's hard to imagine...but both must first get back to some semblance of sanity...then work together in finding common ground and reaching across the aisle with viable bipartisan policies. Doubtful, but one can hope.
I would have to say that Thailand is just not as attractive as it used to be. This is keeping many people away and choosing other places to live, work, retire, and vacation at.
