Bank letter and passbook photo copies

Featured Replies

I was told that the bank letter and passbook photo copies proving 800K must be dated the same day you apply for the one year extension. Is this correct? Thanks for your help.

Mine are generally dated the day before I apply for my extension. This has never been a problem at Jomtien for me.

Some claim to have been sent out of immigration to update their pass-book at a nearby bank branch. I believe the bank letter should match the amount shown on the copy of the last entry. Simplest is to comply... go, to ATM and withdraw a little, go to bank, ask them to update book, ask them for a letter, and be cheeky and ask for a copy of the last page in the pass-book there (sign it and add to previous page copies). Steel yourself and off to immigration next!

Three weeks ago, my bank letter was done the day before. No problem, as usual.

My bank provide a stamped copy of the last page of entry along with the letter.

I have been sent back to the bank by immigration to get a bank statement also.
