These idiots should at least do a conference call and get their stories straight before they open their mouths. The day to day inconsistencies make them all look like complete fools and liars.

Why are chinese tourists so valuable to Thailand? Do they pay more? What special do they bring to thailand that others cant? At a time i have heard that they have their own guide, own means of transportation, own resto! Do we have to feel small towards chinese tourists when we are in thailand?

The Junta is getting absolutely desperate. I think they feel the power slipping away. They are absolutely despised by the majority of Thais, and nearly all of us ex-pats. They are virtually useless. And way, way past the sell by date. The only way they can win the next election is by stealing it. They are now just making stuff up. Thailand is within the grasp of the slowest peak season on record. And it is all thanks to Prayuth, and his merry band of incompetents. Who suffers? The Thai people, who they care not one iota about.

Get out. Get out now. You are not needed. You are not wanted. You are not liked. You are despised. You are destroying your own nation.

LOL.

Chinese tourism grows shrinks grows shrinks on and on and on these stats bounce.

These stats are plucked from a monkeys' bottom, the same bottom as the road traffic deaths stats.

In the Samui News section, there is a report that '30,000 party goers descended on the FMP this weekend'!

Absolute and total balderdash. The island is quiet and bike shops are mostly fully stocked - a sure tell the number of visitors is spectacularly lower than that - most likely less than 10,000 at the party...

They also bleat on about partygoers coming from Koh Samui - how many speedboats does it take to bring 20,000??

Chinese on bus tours dont spend any money.

We are one of largest currency exchanges in pattaya, got many kiosks, but we never get any yuan, how come? They not allowed to exchamge, 0 dollar, they exchange with guide or bus driver.

Same goes with everything else with them, bus takes them to resteurant etc...

Basically useless tourists. They dont go bars clubs etc...

Chinese are only number nothing else in general.

This guy was priceless. He denied that Baghdad had been reached by the US troops, meanwhile there is a GI waiving a US flag behind him.

I thought this was the fake news they were talking about in the headline.

I agree with you but the "boss" think different, they emphasize so much in the chinese like they are pooping gold or something like that and they forgot the most important...quality better than quantity

May I be the first to congratulate Thailand on a job well done! ????

Well done Thailand on turning the down-trend around so quickly, also getting the accurate numbers together to let us all know this wonderful news in such a short space of time.

Only question is, where are you hiding them? ????

Chinese whispers, it  started off as 1  tourist...............now  look at it
