Belarusian model who claimed Trump secrets detained in Moscow - Ifax

MOSCOW (Reuters) - A model from Belarus who claimed to have evidence of Russian interference in U.S. President Donald Trump's election was detained in an airport in Moscow on Thursday after being deported from Thailand, Interfax cited the police as saying.

 

Anastasia Vashukevich, 27, and three others were detained upon arrival at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport and have been transferred to a police station, Interfax cited the Interior Ministry as saying.

 

They were deported by Thai authorities after their arrest during a "sex training seminar" in Thailand and pleading guilty to charges including conspiracy and soliciting. 

 

Vashukevich, who is also known as Nastya Rybka, has previously said she was in possession of recordings of conversations on interference in the U.S. election through an association with Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska. Deripaska's representatives have accused her of fabrication and said she was never his mistress.

Surprised she did not seek asylum. She must have been aware that she would be detained once back in Moscow for having spoken out whether truthfully or not.

I fear for a work permit violation, she'll end up with a bullet in her head. There'll be some outrage, a few stories written, then soon forgotten.

You keep them in prison for almost a year for nothing and then send them to be arrested in Moscow. 

A Daily Mail article on the arrest. Appears they may have been in transit to Belarus. But, of course, transiting through Moscow gives no protection........

Her arrest gives her "some" credibility. If she is found dead, is the western media/governments going to react with the same vigor and manner as they did with Khashoggi?

So she was grabbed in Moscow on a connecting flight and arrested. She may never be seen again I suppose. Another piece of evidence against Trump that won't see the light of day, but not to worry, there will be a flood of other evidence about to be disclosed in the Mueller report.

Funny how she gets found guilty, sentenced to 10-years, gets released on time-served AND deported in 32 nanoseconds just as Deripaska's name pops up in the notable defeat of DJT's House bill to try and get the US to ease up on economic sanctions on some of the businesses of Putin's buddy.

Should they? Why? An assassination of a journalist who has risked his life in order to expose a corrupt and murderous government, whose brazen assassination is an assault on all journalism and free press? Compared to a self centered  idiot con artist prostitute who knew what she was doing and brought it all on herself? Really? You can't see the difference? Whose life was of more value and to whom and how many? A journalist whose life championed principles important to millions of oppressed freedom loving people?  Compared to someone whose egocentric life revolved around sleaze and sleazy characters? Yeah, that's a tough one, give it a few months of study, and we'll quiz you come end of March. As far as killing her, she's not important enough to them to bother. The Saudi was fleeing hardcore oppression and a prison-like life just because of her gender. She had hopes and dreams of a fair and normal life. The Russian was living a sex-party-for-sale life in a hedonist beach resort. A government and its people would appropriate their sympathy accordingly.
