timewilltell
There is zero honour in Thai society and a structurally dishonest mindset where bad deeds are ignored by all. Someone doing another wrong behind their back and everyone turns a blind eye. The real tell in this story is the reported incident going nowhere with the police. It usually goes that way and when the courts get involved it is little better as victims are simply not protected. It it all boils down to corruption in the end and the huge selfishness that permeates pretty much everyone perhaps in response to corruption and survival. Until the police renounce corruption or are forced to, Thailand will never move forward. It is a scourge of this dysfunctional society that is preventing Thailand reach anywhere near its potential
