Tham Luang Cave Complex To Become Historical Park

CHIANG RAI — Efforts are underway to turn a cave complex where 13 young footballers and their coach were trapped into a national historical park.

 

The plan was announced Tuesday in Chiang Rai, though an official said today that works could not start until floodwaters have fully receded from Tham Luang caverns. Attempts to re-explore the cave were halted mid-January due to flooding, Chiang Rai’s Deputy Governor Pasakorn Boonyalak told reporters.

But i dont want to remember! It is too weird. All these kids in a strange place with a soccer coach. weird... Glad they survived but i think it was a major f-around and would be better forgotten but thats me.

Or until a group of Chinese tourists manage to get trapped by flood waters from an earlier than expected rainy season, and then Cave Dive Rescue 2 hits the papers, after which Chinese tourism falls again, and the cave is closed permanently.

If it wasn’t for Vern ,things could have ugly very quick !
