Featured Replies

Dear My friends,

Hope you guys are ok. I am facing again new problem related to my health, it's affecting my day to day life since last 1 month.

I am having issues in my urethra, penis, urinary tract, slow urine flow, urinary incontinence.  here in my country: Ultrasound, Blood, urine work done. Doctor told me about RGU X Ray and MCU.  Doctor suspecting ureathral stricture.

I am looking for best hospital with best doctor specialized in this urethral stricture surgery. it's the most complicated surgery. if it is done by wrong hand, i will be in permanant impotent or many complications.  so,  i need your expert opinion regarding Urologist and hospital which has latest technology.

He specializes in reconstructive urology and is AFAIK the best in Thailand for this.

Dear Sheryl,

Many thanks.  My problem is mainly Urethral stricture, I guess.

So, Should i consult with him directly, or you can also recommend  Dr. Viroj Chodchoy?

As i saw several posts on him.

Thanks once again dear

Consult Prof. Wachira directly.

Dr., Viroj is an excellent urologist but does nto specialize specifically in this sort of problem whereas Prof. Wachira does.

and don't forget to get a second opinion. if only to make you feel better about your 1st choice.

If your physician was able to diagnose this in your home country, why would you want to have the procedure done in Thailand? Surely, the physician who diagnosed this is  able to refer you to a qualified specialist.

He is posting from Bangladesh. Quality of care there is not so good. Makes sense to come here for treatment if he can afford it.  This tpe of surgery if not done very expertly can make problems worse.
