Getting UK HMRC to recognise my UK State Pension as not receiving the yearly increases.
How long have you lived in Thailand. If it's less than 15 years, you are still entitled to vote in general elections and therefore have an MP for your last UK address. Write to your MP. That will get them moving. -

Bangkok's Free Transport Initiative Sparks Criticism Amidst Haze Crisis
Yes, it was awful on Sunday--never seen it so packed. Horrible. 45% increase in usage but no increase in the frequency of the trains and no increase in the number of cars per train. -

Col(u)mbia sends its presidential planecollect worthless illegals after being spanked.
Wet Liberals! Hard core leftest.A ideology hell bent on Socialism/ Marxism stops at nothing to persecute their political rivals ! This new class of leftist in the world made up laws designed to destroy and prosecute , using Stalinist tactics, lawfare in the USA. To show what kind of Person Rubio was dealing with, this socialist, once a militant guerrilla . https://nypost.com/2025/01/26/us-news/trump-announces-immediate-retaliation-against-colombia-after-socialist-president-turns-back-us-deportation-flights/ However, long before Mr Petro had a career in politics, he was once part of the M-19 guerrilla rebel group. From kidnappings to elusive conspiracy theories around Pablo Escobar, the group often used violence to seize power over the country. https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-06-21/colombias-new-president-gustavo-petro-has-a-dark-past-/101168630 -

Trump Ends Biden's Hold on Bomb Shipments to Israel
Rubbish, ethnic cleansing............. From a Palestinian who incidentally has had many of his family killed in Gaza by IDF bombs President Trump’s remarks about relocating Gazans to Jordan and Egypt are nothing more than testing the waters for new-old ideas that will never happen. Neither country is able or willing to take in Gazans for a variety of political, economic, cultural, and security reasons. So, long story short, it's not going to happen - calm down, folks. However, Mr. Trump and his administration are wrestling with two complex challenges: not knowing if the ceasefire agreement will endure past the second phase and, as the entire world agrees, not reconstructing Gaza while Hamas is still in complete control, only for the Strip to be destroyed again in a few years. I will, however, tell you this: don’t believe the lies, propaganda, and slogans you see on social media and Qatari-state TV, claiming that Gazans are so steadfast and resilient, they’re superhumans capable of withstanding any war, any amount of displacements, weather any storms, and will never leave their homeland. I’m willing to bet my life, right this very minute, that if the Gaza Strip is opened up and Palestinians there are offered a chance to establish a new life elsewhere, half of the coastal enclave’s 2.3 million people would immediately leave and never look back. It is not normal to be perpetually held hostage by an Islamist death cult; it is not normal to be denied an opportunity to have a free, dignified life because we’re supposed to love martyrdom more than the Jews love life and engage in perpetual resistance; it is not normal to be led into useless waters time and again, only to return to square one and be sitting atop piles of rubble with nothing to show for; it is not normal to be turned into aid-dependent subjects and make the well-being of Gazans the responsibility of the UN and NGOs instead of the government in charge. Gaza doesn’t need reconstruction; Gaza needs to be reconstituted; Gaza needs rejuvenation and a renaissance to ensure that this is its final war. Gaza needs to be transformed so that more Palestinians want to stay there and be part of building their nation rather than leaving to other countries. The traditional frameworks for reconstructing Gaza, just as happened after previous wars, are the last thing that is needed right now, for that would kick the can down the road before the inevitable next round of fighting.
