I suspect most of the expat population in BangSaray read the Pattaya forum so lets move this topic over there see if anyone can help.

I'm looking for the same person.

2nd floor router location to first floor TV location.

I'm south of Pattaya but north of Bang Saray.

If you don't get any takers on here  then  you could go to one of the 2 Tukcoms in Pattaya and ask the (many) shops selling CCTV if they are willing to do it...but just running a CAT5/6 cable might not be a very enticing job for them.

Ethernet cable would be a much better solution than a WiFi booster

you could quite cheaply go the whole hog

run a CAT5/6 cable to the upper floor feed into a "switch/hub" something like this

https://www.lazada.co.th/products/tenda-sg105-5-ports-gigabit-ethnet-network-switch-lan-hub-auto-mdi-mdix-fullhalf-duplex-exchange15k-jumbo-plug-and-play-i230126636-s352253141.html?spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.64.35164646byztPm&search=1

then connect the tv box directly to the

"switch/hub"   and  also connect a " WiFi Access Point" to the "switch/hub"  something like this

https://www.lazada.co.th/products/tp-link-wireless-n-access-point-300mbps-tl-wa801nd-white-i160571485-s193375918.html?spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.4.1afe357erGlnYe&search=1

That way you would have best of both worlds  Ethernet and good quality WiFi signal on the upper floors.
