This worm is the worst of the worst here in Thai politics and should be in jail for his lies and treasonous activity. Only reason he isn't is because he knows where all the bodies are buried and his misdeeds ultimately are shared in by many others currently in power. If I could choose just one person for justice to catch up with here, then this slimy toad would be it.

I think its good that the democrats turn away from the junta, that does not mean they have to like Thaksin just means they don't like the junta.

Let us all remember that fanboys haven't just spent several years here posting about disliking Thaksin, fanboys have actively and feverishly supported not only the Junta but also Suthep and his whistle blowers. Fanboys actively chose to oppose democracy with the false and facile reasoning that Thaksin is the devil, somehow believing this nonsense justified their full throated support of what is basically fascism and most certainly worse than Thaksin on every imaginable metric.

 

One can be against Thaksin and FOR democracy, your post history shows you were with anti Thaksin and anti democracy and no amount of weasel words and false dichotomies will change that fact.

Leaving aside your over-excited Thaksin related rant, it's a matter of record there was close liaison between Suthep and Prayuth. It's hardly surprising since the publicly stated yellow aim was to bring about a military coup.

 

If you really want to go over the well-hashed history, of course there were well-intentioned ordinary people involved who were appalled at the inane umbrella amnesty proposal from the Shinawatra camp.They were used.

 

It was said of the restored French Bourbon dynasty that they had learnt nothing and forgotten nothing. I am under no illusion that many of the Bangkok middle class haven't learnt any lessons from the last few years. Neither it appears have you.

At the risk of pedantry, no he did not shut down Bangkok in 2014. The numerous 'Final Pushes' were descending into apathy.
