Video: Myanmar man with a death wish finally gets his wish on the Thai roads

Shocking CCTV footage from Sukhumvit Road in Bang Poo, Samut Prakarn showed a man crossing the road apparently trying to get hit by traffic. 

 

Though the footage is sped up the man crosses several times in what looks like an attempt to get killed. 

 

On one occasion a tour bus has to come to an abrupt halt to avoid hitting him. 

 

Finally the man darts out between two trucks - he is hit and killed by a six wheel truck that couldn't brake in time. 

 

Locals spoke with one voice - they said the man was often seen crossing there and was based locally. In the first few examples of his crossing the road the traffic was moving slowly and was able to stop. 

 

But not in the final one. 

 

He was named as 43 year old Kim Mong Too from Myanmar.
