Diet shakes in thailand

Featured Replies

Anyone know if you can buy diet shakes here. I forget what they were called in Australia but were great. Came in powder form in a packet. Optislim but similar thing ok

It seems like a better diet would be to avoid shakes?

But if it had a name like you mention, Optislim, then likely was it a meal substitute type drink. Possibly protein and a stimulant ?

Please specify what exactly yo uwant/what for.

"Diet shakes" could mean nutritional supplement or could mean a low cal thing to be taken instead of food in order to lose weight (bad idea).
Its called optislim Sheryl. But there are other brands. Its a low calorie powdered mix, but it does have nutritional value too. Not just an expanding fibre thing. My daughter is a nutritionalist and she actually reccomended them. U cant just live off the alone of course

I was going to attach the link to the Optislim website so Cheryl could read nutritional content but it has too many pop-ups.

Jut cut out sugary drinks, don't eat after 6pm till 9am next day (overnight fast)....reduce carbs a bit...mainly though halving rice you consume in restaurants.

Do bit of muscle toning/building and cardio 2-3x a week.

Have a large buffet once a week right after exercise...sounds counter-intuitive...but it keeps your metabolism high combined with cardio/muscle building.

Worked for me, am down 12kg since last October. If you have held a 12KG dumbell in the gym, that is quite a slice taken off. ????

Avoid jasmine rice altogether if you're cutting down on sugar. It has the highest sugar content of all the rices

The easiest and cheapest way to order "supplements" is through iherb>dot>com, had literally hundreds of deliveries over many years, no problem with customs, they have similar products to what the OP is looking for.

I could see how a processed product like that could be helpful, to mix some fiber, protein powder, a bit of vitamin, and limited flavoring to provide a healthy meal supplement or snack.

All the same I'd just avoid that type of thing myself, and maybe get protein powder to use as an ingredient in a smoothie version, a version that contains no sugar.  People tend to react negatively to fruit for providing sugar but the levels of natural sugar from making a smoothie out of banana and fresh pineapple are nothing like drinking a soda.  Then again a 12 ounce Coke contains 140 calories or 39 grams of sugar, and a banana serving (more or less one) contains 30 grams of carbohydrate, not all of which would be sugar:

To answer more directly Lazada would have lots of related products, it would just take some sorting through to find a near equivalent.

Not sure a fruit smoothie is a good idea for a diabetic (or anyone). IMG_0276.JPG

FracturedRabbit is right, packed full of sugar, which is released on the breakdown of the fruit as it is blended.  Really bad idea for anyone on a diet, or diabetic. Unblended fruit is better, but even that in moderation.
