There are many over the counter products to help you achieve immediate relief...go to any pharmacy and ask for suggestions...

See a Doctor if swelling persists...may be an indication of a more serious problem.

Here are a few helpful hints.

Good Luck!   ????

its nothing short of amazing how little we actually need

to eat. i'm nearly 2 meters 90 kg and break even

on 1 meal a day.

specially past age 30 our metabolism goes directly down the shitter, and so does life

How much is your weight?

Scales don't lie.

52kg

i am 160cm

however, my stomach is always stuffed so it is like 55 (on the lucky days it gets smaller and my weight decreases)

Your BMI is 20.3. That is fine.

You do not look like an "8-month pregnant woman".

You may have a skewed image of your own body.

The feeling of feeling bloated is very common to Westerners arriving in Thailand. All your diet is changed and so your gut flora is undergoing change. This may give rise to feelings of indigestion or feeling bloated. After several months it will subside.

Are you moving your bowels regularly?

Be ware of foods with too much oil which is a high percentage of Thai foods. Oil greatly slows stomach emptying.

Has this problem been only recent and after coming to Thailand?

Sent from my SM-J701F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app

I only eat okras, little eggplants etc with nam prik Kapi or nam prik num, no oily foods.

I’ve been like this for a loooooong time ><

Nah, I'm 48, always did sports, got about the same weight I had when I was 28. Oh and eat 3 to 4 meals per day. I'd die on 1 meal per day, that is surviving not living.

i think you are right about that, people generally over eat, food is addictive. Just look around and see how over weight the farangs are

Scales are overrated. They don't measure muscle strength, nutrition levels or fitness. Being thin is nothing to aim at. Some people are naturally thin but weak and unhealthy.
