BRUSSELS (Reuters) - European Council President Donald Tusk told Britain on Thursday not to waste the extra time to sort out Brexit after the EU agreed a second delay to London's departure until Oct.31.

"Please don't waste this time," Tusk told a news conference after eight hours of EU leaders' talks on the matter.

He said Britain still had all the options on Brexit available during the extension, from approving the stalled divorce deal, to changing its leave strategy to cancelling the departure altogether.

EU leaders would review the situation at their regular summit in June.

"June is not a cliff-edge, or a moment to take new decisions, it must be clear," Tusk said. "June is not for decisions about extension. My intension is even not to discuss, but only to inform member states about the situation."

What other options are there that don't fall under "changing its leave strategy"?

Just now, dick dasterdly said:

Leave?

You mean changing its current leave strategy of trying for a soft Brexit to instead just making a hard one?

Considering the UK parliament has rules out a No Deal options, it is up to the children currently serving as MPs to grow up and sort out this debacle brought on by their own childish squabbling .

So lets us hope they can all grow a pair and behave sensibly

Unless something fundamental really changes the deluded May will continue kicking the can down the road and harping on about how wonderful her deal is and why parliament must accept it even though it's been voted down 3 times including a record government defeat.

Wise advise Mr Tusk but sadly falling on deaf ears.

Ironic that Halloween 31st has been chosen as the leave date though they would have chosen the 29th so cut and paste posters don't get leave date wrong again ????

You mean that American festivity.

No I mean the one celebrated by every pound shop in the UK????

And why would Europe take Halloween, apparently now a UK celebration as well, take into account?

Presumably to make a lot of money fast unlike expat Brexit supporters who are happy to loose it fast even though it makes no difference them as the endless bleating of take back control rings out and means absolutely nothing at the 90 day IO report all rather British hypocrisy really. Boris marched them to the top of the hill and Junker marched them down and the rest is history the end????

Actually, I see no reason why this saga won't go on forever. Unless a general election drastically changes the configuration of Parliament, why not an endless succession of delays? It will soon turn into a kind of joke.                                                                                                                           Coming soon, Brexit & Jesus!

Of course it’s not. The smarter Brexiteers (Jacob and some of his bully boys) of course know that. That’s why they keep on the sidelines comfortably from where they can shout their insults and spread hatred without risking to take responsibility for anything. Then there are the poor fools and tools like Davis and Raab.

It’s funny that the spoonies keep dreaming of a Brexiteer PM. None of the smarter Brexiteers would ever take that job. Shouting “no deal” from the sidelines is one thing. In the end, no one of them would want to be responsible for the crash. That would leave them in the very same situation May is in — enraging their base of riff-raff by having to agree to a deal on the EU’s terms.
