Something must have distracted me last week while I was doing my tips, first warning was when I checked scores  yesterday in the Melb/Hawks game and noticed I had Hawthorn...

 

Checked again today and noticed my final four tips had not been made either...

Top of the ladder fooie..........i seen enough good teams in my life to know how they should travel.....Its not a good sign to build yourself up one week and run out on the ground with a flat the next week....

 

We should have strangled the Hawks last night, 4 goals up early in the 2cd....i was think how far? But then they let them back in...

 

We haven't murdered anyone since early in the year....keep it close is our mantra, make it a thriller, give the fans something to sweat about.....geeeessssss.......

 

Demons have no mongrel in them, Viney normally a ferret rat is well not a ferret rat of late, we need a Grinter in the team men.....a fair and tough man....we should be moving heaven and earth to try and get a Toby Green into the red and dark blue.....thats what we need.......

 

And the coach....gees how did i miss that, the pain of another year....when we could have maybe snared a good one.....watch in the Melbourne Demons is like watching Mr Maggoo the cartoon guy....frigging idiot he was....

Yes i might be but prefer to think im someone who has a bit of substance you know, expect a bit more from people etc...But in the case of that football team there like being underachieves my entire teen and adult life.....

 

And were 5 games to go to the finals, in my time they tend to shoot them selves in there big flat feet around now and rolling into sept.....how many times did we loose the last 5 games of the season to end up in the elimination final? A god dam lot of times....

 

Well loose 2 and were 3rd.....loose 3 and were 4th......Suns, Eagles, Dogs, Crows and Cats in the next 5 weeks....and we draw with the Hawks....after this weeks display geeeeesss.....hey i pay my money.....i can shoot my mouth of over my crapp football team.......

Look the worse thing that happened to us this year is they will sign Goodwin to a 2 year extension sometime next year....disgusting.....he lost me the second half of the year before last....he is already playing his favourites which means we will stagnate some time soon....

 

Mind you we once had a decent coach and they didnt resign him......lets see what miss elpresidentie does....they recon shes a mover and shaker....but you know where stuck with this guy for at least another 3 ys....i might be dead when he gets the flick.....i will have to be watching from a bar up near the pearly gates with 65inch tellys on the wall.....

 

Or i might be a broken down and broke Aussie aged pensioner living under a palm tree on a Thai beach with no access to the internet cause im broke and living the life of the broken down old bum in a crumpled white suite smelling of whiskey on my breath and miss the entire event of Goodwin getting the flick....

Well were not winning and i couldn't be happier with my teams improvement.

With an early draft pick and maybe go after a bonefide forward next year and the skys the limit.

I rarely miss watching the Roos but on sunday i was back and forth between the game and the Charlo v Castano fight which was a cracker.

It was given a draw which was disappointing as Tszyu would be next to fight Castano.

Ummmm yes there is defiantly a lack of trust and it was a headline in the Age today as well referring to the Demons......

 

Well its been nice not jumping around in my chair during games and carrying on over some decisions which makes me think how blessed you have been Will for so many years....

 

But i have vivid memories of dropping the last 5 games of the season to end up in the elimination final and we did that at least 4 times under Northey, and i maybe wrong but under Daniher at least once...

 

Bulldogs prime time sat night men....some games have been switched around....

Im not sure what you guys think of the 'new' "updated" forum but just as i was looking up visa requirements and motor stuff.....its like hummmm.....poor as Melbournes last game....and not Apple like smooth intuitive as before.......

Well dont start me.....had a scam phone call this morning claiming to be amazon, theses days its rifle here to the point i now use voice mail to screen calls but sometimes i answer and i did today so it got me thinking i should delete my credit card details from both amazon and ali express....amazon was almost easy but ali express....well in the end fluke it by chance as google search wasnt up to date and nowhere with in the park.....

 

The AFL app continually logs me out so i just check scores there these days, safari and kayo dont like each other, anyway i see what this forum is about now there added a few countries and i think its a good idea bit they forgot to keep it like it was before.....bit like Apple updates fix one thing and screw another....

Friday funnies on  FRIDAY......how about that?

 

Well its been freezing here in the garden gnome state.....winter came a month early though we did get about 3 weeks of glorious autumn something i haven't seen for a while....august weather since about mid june....and last few days have reminded us that soon it will be the work of lucifer.....grey skies all day for days on end......I am 95% sure once borders open im out of here for good....i just cant do these winters anymore.....

 

The NFL have a new ruling, aiming for 85% of players and staff at teams to have the jap, the new decree is........and i love it......if a team due to corvid 19 cannot play and has a game canceled and it cannot be rescheduled they will forfeit points and go to the other team....and both teams will be docked that weeks salary.....now where talking......further more the season will not be lengthened ....now thats pressure.....some players have been hit right between the eyes as we all know there are bunch of septics.....or sceptics but i prefer to call them septics as in tanks....casue there friggs dumb bottoms....and thats where the stuff goes.....Painter on the job the other day was telling me Corvid is all about selling vaccines.......can you believe? Anyway its amazing how loose tongues with nothing to do whip up a storm, another work mate is right behind Donald....im sure he sits in front of the pc till 3 am on the dark web...

Demons @ the G against the Bulldogs......well here i would state that the Dogs should take the points...should.....but them Demons knew there coming up against them soon they only play to the level of there opponent which will bring them undone in september, since its still the home and away i do not promote anyone picking the Demons but i will....there done enough this year to keep my vote though with no confidence cause thats how they are....good value if  your looking for a thriller....prime time 7.25 Melbourne time saturday night.....

 

Crows @ Marvel against the Hawks.....well Crows haven't picked up points in a while....so the law of averages says its time like in 1975....though it did no good as they got turfed out by Malcom pretty quick....

 

Swans in Queensland against the Dockers who are still hitch hiking there way to the Gold Coast....so peed off is Bell he now wont even provide a bus......

 

Cats to stitch up the once mighty Tigers.....at the G just what they want....fine tune for september.....get the feel of the wide open spaces.....did you know back in Thompsons era the Cats purposely reset there stadium to the specs of the G.....well the playing arena, its a big ground.....looks very big from the fence...by by Hardwick.......your gone......and shall never return......

 

Essendon @ Metricon against GWS.....lot think its in the bag.....im not so sure.....its going to be closer than many imagine......Cameron has actually come out smelling better than most imagined this time last year....i sent him a bottle of Hugo Boss......after shave....

I take my hat off to David Noble and his coaching team.

12 months ago the players couldn't hit a barn door from 5 feet.

The way they carved through the Blues was an absolute pleasure to watch as a supporter.

It is pretty clear that to be succesful a team needs multiple gun forwards ala Richmond,Eagles ,Bulldogs ,Cats etc.

Matters little having a gun backline if you cant score when you get the ball in your forward zone.

Problem being that gun forwards are like hens teeth and very expensive to get .

A criticism of my team (Demons) is that when the cherry does go forward our potential goalkickers are up the ground to far to effect the outcome.

Kozzie pickett was drafted to potentially be our (Eddie Betts) but he spends most of his time around the centre and wing.

Mate its the delivery.....we got the forwards, its a haphazard approach, Ben Brown was great on saturday night, if he kicked straight it could have made the difference, ive noticed when the forwards lead particular Spargo he takes for ever to kick and theres a couple of others like that, the midfield has regressed, Viney will get better as he gets more games under his belt, i think Viney and Oliver are to much of the same, Oliver has the quality to be better, he needs to break out of packs rather than just get the hand ball out or drop it on his feet, Viney in that regards is more complete, but Oliver is the better player if he did what i suggested..

 

There got Brayshaw on a wing, we dont have anyone else to go there, Angus is a gun midfielder id be doing something here in the lead up to the finals, Harmes id back in any day but is off the boil, the whole midfield is down 10% easy, bit of a shake up in the middle would get results....Goodwin hasn't played with anything all year so is unlikely to make big changes in the middle.....

 

If we put anyone of Macdonald, Fritch, Weiderman up for trade they would be gone in a flash....
