  • Not happy with the result so now have another which will have the same outcome and even bigger majority. The British public is pretty well pissed off with parliament and the politicians who serve

Did you actually vote in the 2016 referendum?

First referendum was "remain". Second referendum was "leave". Score is 1-1 now. Third referendum for the decider.

I'm not aware of a referendum that resulted in "Remain". When was that?

1975

That is private info that has nothing to do with you....Anything else....?

Oh, I did have a Whopper with cheese on Monday though....????

Yes, they apply well to yourself.

Good grief.

And we're all getting bored again at the never ending, circular arguments...

"head in sand" or not inclined to believe the continual (unprovable) arguments that are presented by remainers?

Handing out leaflets or making promises...

I'll take that as a "No" then. I did vote and voted remain. Unlike in 1975 when I voted leave. Luckily, I'm not a gambler.

Do they really have a Burger King in Ubon?

Not quite the same though, was it?

It's not that they're cowards - they just prefer to believe 'expert' opinion rather than reality.

The same.

Not really. I was referring to a vote to stay in the EU. Not EC or Common Market.

Go on, tell me I'm wrong...you know that I never am. 555

Semantics around EEC, EC and EU.

No, it was an analogy of the similarly inane proposal that we cannot see the future until we reach it, we can predict suffocation like we can predict harm to the economy.

You can take my answer as you like, it is immaterial to readers...Plus no, I was in BKK....????

Which is why its so important to quote all the posts to which you were replying.

Otherwise it makes no sense.

No you can't - its all conjecture when it comes to brexit.

In 2057. That can be the precious 3rd data point

And some of us are sick and tired of the 'experts opinions' that were proven very wrong in the past, continuing to post the same bs for the future....

Nope. 2019.

I'd add that some of us are fed up with the electorate  continuing to vote for the corrupt and elite, as it was the 'party' that they supported.....

The brexit referendum result gives us hope that things may change.

Doesn't the EU go back to 1954 and the establishment of the Western European Union?  The EU is just a name change, we voted in 1975 to remain in the Common Market, the EEC and to keep the Assembly of the Western European Union, which together merged into the EU, surely you are not suggesting that a name change means the first vote didn't apply.

Hilarious, actually we can listen to the companies who are leaving as a result.

You may have a point, as I hope the electorate is beginning to realise the lies told to them by our govt. - but this is just a small step.

Which is why I said "The brexit referendum result gives us hope that things may change."
