Mystery Of The Murdered Man Found In A Toilet...

SOURCE: Pattaya City News: March 6th 2007

Restaurant Dishwasher found murdered in toilet.

A case of suspected murder now from a Restaurant in Jomtien. Police at the Dongtan sub-station located on Jomtien Beach received a call from a staff member of the Pattaya Seafood Restaurant located on the Tepprasit Road at 7.30am on Tuesday.

Khun Nigon aged 30 who lives behind the restaurant woke up and went to use the toilet when he made the gruesome discovery of his fellow worker, Khun Tom aged 40 who works as a dishwasher at the restaurant. The Police were called and due to the seriousness of the case, Police Colonel Sutin, the Chief of Pattaya Police attended the murder scene.

He was shown the blood-stained toilet where the body was found and he then inspected the body before it was taken to the morgue. The only visible injury was multiple lacerations around the victim’s mouth. A post mortem examination is now underway to determine if this was the only injury sustained by the victim.

Restaurant staff mentioned that three men were seen drinking whisky behind the restaurant on the previous night, however their behavior did not arouse suspicion and they left the area later that night in a calm manner. Questioning of the staff is now underway in this murder investigation. Police have few clues at the moment as to the identity of the killer and they are not discounting the theory that it may have been an attempted rape which went terribly wrong. We await further updates on this story.

Libya, I think you might find it was a lady that was murdered , not a bloke. It sounds like the same murder as the thread "Murder in Seafood Restaurant: Theprasit Road."

This reporting is so inacurate. These local journos might as well be writing fiction novels.

That would explain the inclusion of the rape explanation in the original item.
