I chuckle to myself every morning when I go jogging on the promenade next to the Mekong river.

There are plenty of Thai people with shiny bicycles, dressed in the latest bike fashionware.  None of them will ever get past a very slow cycling pace.

There are Thai people using the exercise equipment that the town thoughtfully provides. But no-one ever breaks into a sweat and everyone is more interested in their mobile phone.

Finally, there are the Thai joggers.  Regardless of their age, they never manage to achieve a pace higher than a fast walk.

Not a single person that I see 'exercising' will lose an ounce of flab by the end of this year ????

IMHO, the only things that will make a Thai run are the chance to get free money or free food.

Sounds like you’re too busy gawking around to work up a sweat also.
