Has anyone had any experience of the Premium Clinic at Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital?

Just wondering about waiting times to get appointments and actual waiting times when you go to attend your appointment. Also for diagnostic tests/imaging etc are there long waiting lists?

What are there charges like?  I’ve heard they are more expensive than normal government hospitals but significantly lower than private hospitals. Thanks

Thank you lekepin.

Lumbini. I don’t think so, but not much info available in English so I’m not sure.

I’ve heard of the after hours clinic but the website for the premium shows that it is open during the day so I think it cannot be the after hours clinic

I visited an eye specialist at the Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital a couple of times. I don't know if that was the premium clinic you refer to or not.

The specialist who I visited is an eye doctor who worked once a week in BNH for an hour and she was defiantly more qualified than all the other eye doctors in the BNH. She told me I should see her in the Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital to get some special made medicine. Her medicine and the service was cheap and very good.

But recently I wanted to go there again. I had to make an appointment maybe two or three weeks in advance. I am not sure if it's possible to do that on the phone or internet. I visited the place just to make an appointment. (10 min from where I live)

I am still happy with their quality and especially their good prices. But it's a lot of waiting for the appointment and then waiting on the day of the visit.

As far as I know that hospital is not available for every foreigner. I was there because the doctor told me I should see her there. I am not sure if anybody can just go there an make an appointment.

I am only aware of the after hours clinic, which is from about 4 pm Mon-Fri and also Sat mornings.

If there is something else it is very new.

The after hours clinic is on the 13th floor of the OPD building. You have to go in person to make an appointment. Bring a Thai speaker with you. Register for a patient number on the ground floor first then go on up to 13 and ask the nurses there for appt. There are often long wait lists,

They do not discriminate by nationality.

That just the term , it’s open in the day but appointment are scheduled later in the day starting at about 4:30 so that’s why they call it after hours . You get your hospital card and then go to Floor 13 to make an appointment I think .

I’ve attached photos of the information I found online (although it’s mostly in Thai).

From what everyone says it would appear that the premium clinic and the after hours clinic are the same thing?
