I can't help the feeling that the headline was made deliberately sensational.

 

You are correct. BTW, all headline writers try for the most intriguing headline they can, within the bounds of correctness, of course. In a professional newsroom, this headline would have been corrected.

 

Interestingly, "at the feet of" means something else again.

I used to enjoy Thai massages but its a waste of money since prostate cancer acted upon the necessary components.
