PM urges Thais to be proud of margin by which country passed recent ICAO inspection

Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha on Tuesday said Thais should be proud that the country had passed an inspection by the International Civil Aviation Organisation [ICAO] with a higher score than standard.

Ex-convict arrested for alleged series of burglaries

An ex-prison inmate has been arrested for allegedly breaking into rented rooms in Bangkok on numerous occasions to steal valuables, police said on Tuesday, estimating that the suspect might have committed almost 50 burglaries in total across several jurisdictions in recent years.

Taxi driver returns Bt360,000 in cash to Swiss businessman

A taxi driver from Si Sa Ket on Tuesday returned a handbag containing some Bt360,000 in banknotes to a Swiss businessman at a ceremony held at FM91 radio station in Bangkok.
