I would like to buy a condo in bangkok.

and the price is 6mil.

Can I transfer 3mil, and 3 mil in different time? or 2 millions 3 times.

Does bank will issue 2 or 3 FETs for same condo unit?, and does land department accept it?

Thank you.

Yes (at least in Bangkok Thonburi) they don't care about how many FETs you have.

About the bank, they normaly only do a FET with a minimum limit of transfer (I guess it's 20'000$).

With a smaller amount you will only receive a letter with is not exactly the same as an FET.

But with 3 times 2 million or 2 times 3 million there is no problem.

The most secure way would be to go to the designated land department and ask them directly.

Seven year ago I used two incoming transfers for 2 FET's and one transfer was over a year old.  I verified the bank would issue FET for old transfer before I sent final amount.

I was using Bangkok Bank at that time and only main office issued FET's.

Suggest you check with your banks department that issues FET before you proceed.

Made purchase in Pattaya recently, second property as it goes. Both times involved multiple foreign exchange transfers. Bangkok bank locally were very helpful and prepared necessary paperwork for land office with minimum fuss.

Why not just transfer the 6 million in one go? I have weed considerably more than this with no issues.

Is that what is known as 'pissing away money'?

If you are transfering 'weed', I wouldn't talk about it on an open forum ????.
