He wasn't telling the Palestinians what to do or not to do. He was raising doubts as to their ability to self govern, and highlighting several related problematic issues. Being an Assange and free media fan, you probably already know that neither the Palestinian Authority nor the Hamas are much into that sort of thing, right?

Perhaps you should read up a little, or explore the World, before issuing strong statements. The Hamas is definitely an Islamic movement, and their vision of a future Palestine is hardly secular. While they do not represent all Palestinians, they do command wide public support.
