Hello all of you ..a little advice here ive been going to thailand on A oa multi entry for years now someone told me i must have insurance to getbthis visa is that correct im over 60 im married to a thai national who works for the government i have a medical card with access to hospital services because of her job ..would this count ..do i still need this insurance ..i have sufficiant funds in the bank no problem with cash ..im looking to retire here in a year or 2   been told would also need this  insurance   but if i had a marriage visa would not is this correct thanks in advance   just that you hear that many differant stories ....

The kaw has nit yet come 8nto effect but us expected to soon.

It is unclear how Thai Embassies will go about assessing insurance cover.

But yes, enrollment under the Civil Service Social Security scheme should qualify you.
