An unfortunately rare occurrence. i pity him trying to be heard in the places that count. There are none so blind as those who will not see. Unfortunately, he is banging his head against a brick wall.

Cabradelmar Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 BKK gov needs to get this right and soon or the gleeming Mecca of wealth and sin that is BKK will come crashing down around their ears. The city is becoming more unlivable daily with all it's Western styled high end accoutrements. Nothing more than a playground for the rich and shameless. Of course, this will all be moot if the city is 10 meters under water. 2
Lucius verus Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Its too late for that. They've had years to correct the problem as exists in London and Holland but squandered the money. Bangkok is sinking a few cm's every year. Climate change is the boogeman. If the monsoon rains ever return to Bangkok we're toast. 2
RichardColeman Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Can't help but think that building up banks of water under building (usually it seems built on sand) is asking for trouble

natway09 Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Until they come to the realization that water will not run uphill they will not reach a suitable conclusion. Many of the outlets into the sea when there is a full moon (high tide) are actually below the sea level,,,,,,..Think about it Where the hell do you pump it ? The Dutch have offered their expertise on many occasions but ????? we know best
marko kok prong Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Why worry with the current rate of global warming most of the place will be under water by 2100. 1
