From someone who suffers recurring lower back problems, best wishes from me for the surgery. :o Hope everything goes well, and your recovery be a speedy one.

Good Luck Pumpy.

I had a serious back op here two years ago...and the results were as good as I could have wished for.

You'll be fine

Thanks so much to everyone, your kind wishes have got me a little choked up!

A great bunch of folks here. :D

To answer some questions about where I'll be having the surgery....

I'll be going under at 0545 on the 27th at Massachusetts General Hospital.

I've got a top notch surgeon.

I kinda wish I was having the surgery in Bangkok.....I would have enjoyed a visit from Bambina!! :o

And grapes would have been nice too.

Thanks again to everyone, it means a lot....I truly do appreciate it

Perhaps you do freelance work?

I could use a little nursing during my recovery.

I dont really care for needles.

How are you at sponge baths? :o

I'd be more concerned about where she is used to putting the thermometer. :o Good luck and a quick recovery.

Well, here I am....kinda nervous, trying to fall asleep so I can get a couple of hours before going on the 2 hour drive to the hospital.

Don't think I will though.

Have to wake up at 3:00 am......I usually don't go to bed until then.

I'll check in when I return.

If I don't.......start a memorial thread dedicated to free speech, fun, and useless information :o

See you soon.

Eric

Good luck! We'll be keeping our fingers crossed until you check in again, post-op! :o

Eric,

When it's over and done and you're back home again, you'll be quite relieved, feeling much better, and wondering what all the fuss was about. We're all thinking about you chief! Looking forward to a full report of your recovery. :o

Best of luck to you and keep your spirts high.

I had a broken neck in Thailand and the surgeons did an unbelievable job in fixing me up. Haven't had a bit of trouble and that was 10 years ago.

Didn't sleep a wink :o

Thanks everyone......I should be home tomorrow night if all goes well.

Ugh....3:00 am.....it's nice if your drunk, but this is not good.

See you later,

Eric
