It is what it is, I see no reason to post such vitrol, except  when being paid. Maybe it is good to screen some of the posters on here, they seem to be paid to post their nonsense.

Let TV screen me 'sjaak327', I have no problem with it. But shouldn't TV ban you after this abusive post of yours explicitely accusing posters, me one of, of being paid to post here...?

Need not be too emotion and defensive. Both camps have in the past said the same thing.

Your deluded IMHO im deluded in yours.. just a matter of perspective.

Nice how you calculate but you assume that all those votes were truly against the junta. I don't assume that as that is not clear. There were even signs they were going to be a third block. So who are you to say what is right and not. Lets assume they were a third block.. all of a sudden the calculations are different. There was a reason I made no calculation as I am not sure about the facts and making a calculation then is foolish.

We are not talking about driving a car its a totally wrong analogy. If you had any sense then you would know that you need to know your history especially when talking about politics. Im sorry that you don't see that.

No has nothing to do with condemning the junta i have no problems with that. Its more that you have problems that I ALSO condemn similar actions by the PTP.

Point is that Ja New was assaulted and that is a terrible thing and people need to be punished but looking back one can see that these are also tactics Thaksin and pre Thaksin governments did. So why is it wrong to say that this happend. Better to condemn it for all and make laws with teeth instead of selective indignation something your quite good at.

Just a gentle suggestion Robb.

This thread is about Ja New. It is not about something that happened five years ago. Some of you are just like little children that do not get what they want.

The dishonesty lies in attempts to suggest the victim's ordeal was self inflicted and more nonsense, when no proof has been submitted for any of that nonsense.

Whatever happened to simply rejecting this cowardly act? We live now, not five years ago.

Woody Allen once said “ who’s the bigger idiot, the idiot who gets fooled by the idiot”. Got to be a fool to keep talking whataboutism and hope to create diversion.

Rob, do you honestly believe, that based on the election results, the Thai people wanted Prayuth to continue ? Really ? You can't be serious. After all the cheating and rigging, the only way this election result can be explained is a massive loss of face for Prayuth. For crying out loud, PTP sweeped more than half of the constituencies they were actually allowed to run in.

There is no doubt, the Thai people made it very clear, no more Prayuth.

I will do no such thing, I won't let you allow to silence me. I made my points, and you have brought nothing to table to contradict my points, Thaksin is not in Thailand, you cannot possibly deny facts.

Well, TV has banned me serval times already, feel free to report me. If you don't like your motives to be questioned, stop spreading lies. What you posted about Ja new, is distasteful, and you have no evidence to back it up. So that leaves the question, why you are trying to defame this person ?

Why don't you condemn this cowardly act, is he not one of the good people ?

What can be done to change what happened 13+ years ago?

Nothing.

What is the reason for focussing solely on what cannot be altered?

There is only one reason - diverting attention from what is occurring right now.

Ja New has been assaulted....but, but Thaksin had people assaulted.

What's your point here, it (may have) happened before so it's perfectly acceptable for it to happen now?

What is the point in the focus on Thaksin here?

What does it achieve?

To answer your last question. It achieves absolutely nothing. However the likes of bearboxer, bangrak. Scorecard and Rob seem to believe it will steer people away ftom the topic at hand and will make people think, wow that Thaksin guy was bad.

In reality normal people will just question their honesty and mental abilities.

They are not much disimilar for those right wing racist and xenophobes the world seem to have in abundance, with the same moa, lies distortion and crying foul when someone calls them out on their despicable behaviour.

People should and can be judged from the rubbish they write down on here, period.

Of course when challenged they hide away behind freedom of speech, just like the racists a d xenophobes are always doing. I respect their freedom of speech, but cringe when they use the term 'demonized'

They are just being called out for the dishonest lies they are uttering, and rightly so.

The trouble here is it is not Promphong who looks like an idiot. He actually made a few very valid points about the election results, points that are universally shared in all of the mainstream media.

But what can we possibly expect from people that openly support coups, they piss on democracy and the Thai electorate....

Correctly interpreting election result is quite clearly a bridge to far.

Read again, I didn't say thaksin was in Thailand, everybody knows he's not in Thailand, he's too cowardly to set foot in Thailand.

Pot calling the kettle black. Thasksin isn't even the subject. a fact you seem utterly unable to comprehend. I think I wasn't all that far off with my remark about the Airport....

My mentions of Thaksin are in reaction to yours, a mention that is off-topic. The topic at hand is Ja New, not Thaksin Shinawatra.

You have had far too many repetitive and arrogant posts for a pip-squeek telling others what the are 'allowed' to post. Not only that you have posted all sorts of Thaksin-defending crap despite telling others that their opinion is not good enough for you. So you are a prize hypocrite too.

I haven't been lured into what the corrupt 'dear leader' did in the past but I will defend any poster's right to post other examples of human rights abuses especially when there are quite a number and quite a variety of political, social, forest-dwelling & local anti-corporate examples of murder, disappearance and violence.

None of the past examples justify the attacks on Ja New but he is lucky, only in the sense that so many have died for their protests in the past.

And where exactly am I claiming you would not be allowed to post. I stated correctly that Phrompong made a few very valid remarks about the last election. Respectfully, who are you to lecture me on this matter, when it was in fact you who suggested Phrompong was an idiot. It seems you are only willing to defend the rights of posters you agree with !

'sjaak327' will you please stop with your Thaksin, Thaksin, Thaksin?! How many times today, on TV only? Already 3 times in the 4 lines here! Pfff, boring... LOL!

That's an easy question Bangrak, the minute you guys stop to bring him up repeatedly. Hardly rocket science one should think,

Read my post any try to understand it. I disn't claim that you said anything about my right to post, but you certainly did tell others what they are 'allowed' to post. Yes I will tell you what I think of you as that's exactly what you are doing about other posters.

Yes I said PP is an idiot as he has posted some complete idiocy on this thread but I didn't make any comment on PP's right to post. So I'll add a lie to your increasing list of character defects.

To repeat, defending posters right to post is different to calling their posts idiotic or any other term. I'm not criticising your right to post but I will certainly call you out when you do it to others. Apparently you don't understand this difference.

You think I'm the idiot?

Take a second to go over your comments in this thread and look at the mess you've got yourself entangled in.

And you allegedly don't even support the junta.

I am in tears.

:cheesy::cheesy::cheesy::cheesy:

PS - Do you not find it idiotic to defend the right to post of posters who use that right to support a regime that crushes the right to free speech of an entire nation?

No doubt idiot is the correct term, you've just applied it to the wrong person.

What mess? I don't know if you are an idiot or not but you certainly post some idiotic efforts.

No, I 'allegedly' haven't said whether or not I support the junta on this thread.

And no, I am happy to defend the rights of posters to express their opinion whether I agree with that opinion or not. You seem to have the same lack of understanding as SJ about the difference between posting rights & opinion.

If there is any lack of understanding, it is on your behalf and it is of the idiocy in defending the rights of those who want to use those rights to assist in denying those very same rights to others.

Geez, talk about a turkey voting for Thanksgiving.
