Anybody know where you can find these temporal thermometers in Bangkok?

That brand no. But you can get Omron brand (reliable brand) on Lazada.

 

However personally I don't trust the forehead thermometers much, too many factors affecting body surface temp. The ear ones are I think more reliable (Lazada has Omron brand of this too...and seems to me I have seen it in pharmacies).

I bought one of these Chinese ear type for under USD 11 about a year ago and it has been spot on and still operating fine on original battery.

I can probably get braun thermoscan if necessary and I’d think that can be easily found in larger stores or lazada

Well far too optimistic thinking I could find Braun Thermoscan here. Seems somebody decided the Thais wouldn’t pay for that and most stores in town seem to carry only inferior brands. So ended up just getting Omron digital instead.
