Rumble in the concrete jungle: Broad daylight brawl brings Bangkok traffic to a standstill  [VIDEO]

This is the shocking moment two men in the middle of a busy Bangkok street.

 

The fight happened at Rang Nam Road in Ratchathewi on Friday afternoon.

 

Footage of the fight was shared by Facebook user Vin Diesel (not that one).

 

The footage starts with the men, one was said to be a private taxi driver, the other a motorcyclist, squaring up in the road.

 

The motorcyclist can then be seen using his helmet as a weapon to hit the larger man, who in defence grabs the motorcyclist lifting him with a move that would not look out of place in the WWE.

 

Bystanders then come to try and stop the pair from fighting, without much success.

 

The motorcyclist then throws his helmet at the larger man, only to miss completely and hit another man who wasn’t involved in the fight.

 

Throughout the footage car horns can be heard, while a girl in a school uniform who has a ringside view of the broad daylight brawl is clearly distressed by what she has witnessed.

 

It’s not known why the two were fighting.

 

Sanook News citing netizens said the larger man looked like he may be a boxer given his build and fighting stance.

That was not a what I call a rumble. Whole affair would have been more entertaining if someone had given them a handbag each to go at each other with.

Bangkok, 10 million plus people living here, all sorts, all kind, god knows how many millions of cars trucks and motorbikes are being used everyday,

i'm surprised we don't see such donnybrooks more often on Bkk roads and that's a good thing...

Surprised that the "private taxi driver" (Grab ?) didn't wield a machete.

Tall guy looked useful. Wouldn't wanna mess with him if he got started. ????

Amazing Thailand within 3 seconds there is an ambulance No other Country can top that !

Love the way the little guy runs away after he loses his weapon !

The nitwit with the helmet clearly has no fighting skills, whatsoever. The other guy does. Had helmet boy not been saved by the crowd, he would have been crushed. I would say 20 to 1 odds.

Yes, the goolie grab looked very professional.

Bigger guy is dressed either as a cop (off-duty) or a security guard (not bottom level). Could easily be both.

Good luck it didn't happen in the USA with legal guns... 

    With all the violence in Thailand lately, seems the NCPO have not done anything to enhance Thailand as the Land Of Smiles. The only smiles now are the antics of politicians and immigration.

Yes, Not impressed with getting into fights, but was impressed by the restraint shown by the larger guy....  he could have done real damage, but instead it was limited to just trying to destroy the 'helmet' weapon as revenge for using that as a weapon.

The intervened, but to me it seemed that the big guy was showing quite a bit of restraint... he could have destroyed the little one in seconds... instead he took it out on the helmet trying to destroy the weapon.  The intervention by itself would have not saved the little guy.
