March 14, 200719 yr I just finished downloading some hotmail attachments and put them on my E: memory stick. They were all virus scanned before downloading using the hotmail antivirus utility. When I tried to get into the E: drive I got 'Windows cannot find 'Toy.exe', sounds sinister... is there anyway to overcome the problem or is the flash drive toast?

Don't know if the file is recoverable but you should be able to reformat it by right-clicking on it in Windows Explorer.

March 14, 200719 yr Author thanks, vic...I've still got the attachments available in my hotmail inbox...it's accessing the E: flash memory drive that's got me worried...I was wondering if this 'Toy.exe' is associated with any well known viruses...
March 14, 200719 yr Author I have been able to access the files on the E: flash memory by right clicking on my desktop icon then clicking on Explore. Earlier I left clicked and got the Toy.exe message...maybe has to do with the shortcut link to the drive? anyway, problem solved fer de time being...thanks to all for your help...
