Zzzzzzzz. Suvarnabhumi is not bad. It's not amazing, it is not terrible, it's decent. And it is always improving so moving up three places is fair. The ARL is cheap and good. The taxis used to be a nightmare, they have been good for a long time and well organised. Plenty of F&B options: cheap by international standards, not cheap by Thai standards. Check in is usually quick these days, especially if you check in online and then use the kiosks. Outgoing security is very fast, used to be slow. Outgoing immigration is very fast with the e-gates, used to be very slow. Technology is fine - you can register for facial recognition and then no need to present passport and boarding pass after immigration. Constant incremental improvements and they deserve credit. It feels a bit grubby in places, especially the floor tiles and some of the toilets, but generally it is ok. The new satellite concourse is nice. For a massive airport it is decent, much better than Heathrow for example - both incoming and outgoing. But I get it, some people just need to moan.
