And to be somewhere near balance: - Given the way Palestinians have been treated by Israel for many decades, including taking over their land / stealing their land for big new settlements for Israelis, plus the UN and other have been trying for decades to promote the 'two state solution'. Netanyahu and his right wing hugs have been determined to not allow even substantive discussions on this point. Is it surprising that some of the Palestinians react strongly. - Netanyahu and his very right wing cronies (who Netanyahu is frightened of) is determined to kill / maim / starve as many Palestinians, including children and women, as possible. These folks, especially the children are not guilty of anything, are being punished severely including being starved. And the hospitals / medical care has deliberately been targeted and destroyed by Israel to the point where medical care is close to non existent. - All Palestinians are not members of Hamas. But Israel is punishing all Palestinians. Not balanced / not fair. -

The traveller's bags get flagged by Thai security for interception at the next airport. Happened to me in 2022 when I checked an acquaintance into my case from Bangkok to Heathrow. E-gate wouldn't work on arrival. Went to desk and within seconds, customs officers were there. Escorted to retrieve baggage and full inspection for 1 hour. Intensely and repetitively questioned. They were interested in my dead friend's ashes. I saw the x-ray. Showed as orange organic matter. They never opened the package - I did say "he won't complain" and I had all the papers such as death certificate, cremation papers, his passport etc. They then told me I was free to go. I asked the officer if they were tipped off by Bangkok (they clearly were), but she replied "I couldn't say". -

You're a gentleman of distinguished taste 🙂 Funny story...when I ordered my HM I kinda expected it to be delivered like all my other furniture back home was...with the store branded delivery truck coming and unloading in front of your home. So I was sitting there waiting for the Chanintr truck to come like a kid waiting for the ice cream man A pickup truck with a husband and wife pulled up, unboxed it in the parking lot, gave it to me and took a photo of me standing there with it. So ya, I had to wheel a 700 dollar chair thru my parking lot and up 3 floors. most anti-climactic delivery of my life -

Health Covid-19's XEC Variant Spreads Like Wildfire, Says Thai Health Ministry
So, I will be in Thailand again next week. I had four shots of the COVID-19 vaccine (I hate wearing a mask), but I know all my Thai family wear one and clean their hands every five minutes. My Thai wife wants me to wear a mask on the plane (she is a nurse). I thought one would be safe on the plane since the air is recycled. PLS no replies from anti-vaxxers.
