A collision between two Honda Wave motorcycles on the Macro Bridge in Hat Yai in Thailand's south resulted in a 19 year old man falling from the bridge.

Suphakorn Kaewthong, 19, had a hip injury but was conscious as Khorhong Police and rescue services arrived.

He had been involved in a collision on the bridge with a bike driven by 17 year old Natthawut Athorn.

Witness Yuthana, 49, in a pick-up said he saw two motorcycles following each other ahead of him.

The victim who fell was behind the other. The bikes got close and collided at a bend on the bridge with the man on the following bike losing control and falling off the bridge.

Suphakorn was taken to Songkhla Nakharin Hospital.

A big maybe...

That bridge wall looks about 18 inches high, how many other vehicles have tumbled off?

Looks like you've been born with a 2-dimensional perception only

Very doubtful, he'll be back on the road soon with the same mindset!

my eyesight must be getting bad, where all the people are helping the injured man & the ambulance is parked, the bridge above looks pretty straight, where is the bend that caused the accident and for him to fall or are they just saying that so he doesnt sound like a total drop kick

Your eyesight is ok. The road to the left is the common U-turn, which leads underneath the Highway. The bend is about 250m ahead of the site of the accident. Must have been really difficult to direct all the physical forces towards the wall and over.

Not sure about the height, but damn if I can see the bend in the bridge.
