Even though Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is kicking off with Black Widow’s solo film (taking place before Infinity War), Kevin Feige finally revealed the rest of the slate at San Diego Comic-Con.

With the Eternals debuting next year and Doctor Strange’s horror-tinged sequelarriving the year after, the stage is well-set for another otherworldly adventure in 2021 – Thor: Love and Thunder.

Since the Thor franchise was reinvigorated by Taika Waititi’s unique comedic style combined with the colourful, wacky designs of original comics artist Jack Kirby, the director is returning for the Odinson’s next outing.

Waititi also revealed that Natalie Portman is returning as Jane Foster after finding inspiration from 2016’s ‘The Mighty Thor’ by Jason Aaron, Russell Dauterman and Matthew Wilson.

Just another sequel. Hollywood is so devoid of creativity these days, all they seem to be want to do is one sequel after another. How boring. And these action blockbusters are not particularly entertaining for the average adult. They are made for kids, who do not mind these people leaping 800 feet into the air, or jumping off buildings, rolling on the ground, and getting up and running away. How about some movies that appeal to adults, for a change? There may be a reason why Hollywood is seeing a drop in movie attendance, other than Netflix and the streaming services. It may be about low quality content, terrible writing, and bad choices!
