May I just check, it is possible, for a Mother who has Thai Nationality by decent from Her Thai  mother (has UK dual nationality, UK born) and who has Thai Birth Cert/passport/ID card, to register her Son or Daughter (probably at the London Embassy) on a Thai Birth Cert and pass on Thai Nationality? Thanks

Yes, if a parent has Thai nationality, the child will also automatically have Thai nationality. 

Procedure is to register the birth and after that register the birth with the Thai Embassy. That way the Thai government is aware that a Thai citizen has been born and one can apply for a Thai passport. Look at the London Thai embassy website for forms etc.
