Lucius verus Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 Any excuse for the BIB to conduct a military style exercise and intimidate the tourists. (if any) Even the Chinese must be sick of taking their photo. Here in Bangkok you wouldn't even know something had happened unless you were right there. No-ones talking about it. 2

Imyself am grateful for their hospitality and consider many of you to be dreadfully disrespectful. If things are that miserable for you, go home and try to live on your meager incomes. Speaking (and thinking) good of someone, focusing on his qualities (although seeing the person as a whole), encourages this person to activate the energy inside to see you the same way. That needs to be done first with oneself. When you shoot an arrow of truth, dip its point in honey
Miss Pickle Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 Pattaya is like a ghost town the tourists can’t afford the inflated prices with the baht rate .I doubt it is going to be on the top of any Tourist List at the moment.

balo Posted August 4, 2019 Posted August 4, 2019 Pattaya has been lucky so far, avoiding any terrorist attacks. But it could happen, anyone can make a bomb and explode it in a shopping mall etc. I try to move around and never stay too long in one place.

I have found generally their hospitality comes at a price, particularly in the tourist areas where they are a greedy lot. More rural, they can be great.
