Flying Ants And Rain

Featured Replies

Normally when the flying ants/termites are out in droves, rain is normally not far away. The house lights are covered with them tonight! Good sign.......

The Thais will be eating them like candy! :o

There were a bunch two nights ago swarming my porch light but they didn't look the same, very small compared to what I usually see. Called marang mow. Do you think they are the same. No pile of wings on the porch the next morning.

Strange you should mention that, as mine are smaller this year. Definitely young termites, but they seem to be dropping wings and all, and not just the pile of wings.

Lots of them floating on the surface of the water at CM Orchid hotel pool yesterday Saturday 3/17. I'm a pool rat there; the touristas were saying "Eeeuew". :o

Haven't seen any at home yet. Hopefully not long
