Pattaya: Where to buy USD notes less than $100

Featured Replies

some TT Exchanges used to have them but now only $100 if they even have that. I checked independent places as well, nothing so far. Also went to every bank in Central Festival, nothing. In years past they used to stock $20s down to $1s but now it's all gone for some reason.

Is there a reliable place to buy USD in Pattaya now? I'm considering even looking online or for a Bangkok seller who'll mail the money to me.

In the past I have got a mix of $1 (always handy for tips etc.) $5 $10 $20 & $50 from the exchange booth outside Friendship and the booth between Friendship and Toc Com. I requested in the morning and picked them up later the same day. Maybe the independent exchange booths work together and are glad to shift the lower denomination notes.

Go to the Exchange booth opposite the Avenue shopping centre on Second Rd. Tell her you are going to Cambodia and she will give low denomination notes
