The two situations are very different, but the short answer is "No, the IDF wouldn't launch missiles at Hamas terrorists surrounded by Israeli civilians." When Israeli forces target Hamas operatives in Gaza with missiles, the civilian casualties are a result of Hamas members hiding among non-combatants and using them as human shields. If Hamas operatives were in the midst of Israeli civilians, that would mean they had infiltrated Israeli territory and the best method of neutralizing them wouldn't be the same as with attacks on operatives on enemy soil. Inside Israel, the IDF would most likely use commandos or S.W.A.T. teams to take out terrorists. As @Nick Carter icp pointed out, the duty of the IDF is to protect its own people. In any given situation, the IDF will choose a method that minimizes the potential loss of life and injuries to Israelis. By hiding among civilians, Hamas maximizes the chance its own civilians will be killed or injured. -

It seems that that the Covid pandemic scared people stupid
Is not that the mask itself is ineffective, it’s how the user is functioning with it on. Wearing a mask gives folks a sense of security and protection, when in fact a wearing a mask is completely useless if the user is touching it, adjusting it, taking it on and off with contaminated hands. An individual would be less likely to contract a pathogen if they never wore a mask and didn’t touch their face, opposed to wearing a mask and fiddling around with the mask, which is what many end up doing. -

I find your comment quite interesting because..... It seems surprising to me that you might even think that the present skirmishes might grow so large, and so soon, that this might pose an existential threat to you, and others here, in this community. Is there any justification for your worry that this might even happen? Care to reply? Just a question, and I am not saying that your view might not be incorrect. Waiting.... -
