My current extension expires on 13 Dec. I intend to go in to Immigrations to file for a year's extension a week in advance, on 06 Dec.

It is my understanding that there are financial requirements that a specific amount of money has to have been on deposit in a Thai bank "two months" before the extension.

My question is, "two months" before what? In my case, is that 06 Oct, two months before I submit my application? Or is that 13 Dec, two months before my current extension expires? Or even 01 Oct, two months before Dec, the month I will apply?

Thanks for any information you can give me.

2 months before you attend immigration to extend.

Your new 12 months extension will be from your current until date regardless of when you attend imm.

Your current until date is like your birthday it won't change until you stop extension.
