90 day report 1 minute.  Reentry permit 10 minutes.  Shorts, t shirt, and sandals.  No collared shirt, trousers, shoes.

So you ignored the big new sign out the front specifically saying no shorts and sandals ?

Last month Phitsanulok Immigration had a big sign on the door saying 'DO NOT TAKE OFF YOUR SHOES', which annoyed me because I could tell whether or not they were busy by seeing how may flip flops were at the door when I drove past.

They have now removed the notice.

Did my 90 day followup confirmation of the 800 k in the bank.

Went to BKK Bank this morning to get a stamped statement and update bank book.

Went to immigration they have a dedicated desk #8 where a lady takes the copy of bank statement and checks your updated bank book.  She took everything and said goodbye.

That is it took one minute.

Surprised they do not give you a receipt or confirmation that this was done.

Are you sure you even need a statement? I thought I heard an updated passbook would suffice at least as long as it showed every transaction instead of aggregates.

???!!!???

For me today:

My copied statement which was a 3 month copied history of my account the bank stamped and signed today showing I never went below the 800 k.

A copy of my updated Bangkok bank book updated today.

Copy of passport first page and type of Visa.

I signed all pages.

Just reporting what I had to do today and what the bank provided.

Also, took original paper they give you showing the date you are suppose to

come in to verify your account.  All was stapled together and thrown in the file box by the IO.

Who told you exactly that you HAD to do all of that?
Was that detail in the original order document?

My impression is that you can just show up with a copy of the recent activity in your bank book, signed to confirm it is a true copy, and that's it. That wouldn't even require visiting the bank at all, just an update machine.
If we need to do all you said fine, but I am aggressively against people handing over one little thing MORE than is explicitly required.

Paraphrased actual report of another expat doing a 90 day bank check.

According to him this what was needed --

UPDATED PASSBOOK.

I am not sure if that means just showing the passbook or whether a copy of the recent activity was required though.

That's it.

I strongly suspect that bkk6060  did more than is actually required.

If I'm wrong (happens sometimes) then tell me so with evidence.

Saying what a person did without being explicitly required to is not that evidence.
